At Chow Charmer Rescue, our goal is to place as many dogs as we can in loving, forever homes. While we strive to reduce rescue barriers, we also carefully screen all our adoption applicants.  This is for the safety and comfort of all the dogs in our care, and your safety as well. Poorly matched adoptions have poor outcomes and can result in a dog's return to rescue life or back to a shelter.

We will connect with both the veterinarian and personal references provided on your application. We've been doing this for a long time and we know how to suss out someone who wants a Chow for the wrong reasons.
